Description

The collection takes inspiration from Amelia Earhart, transforming her heroic image into an aesthetic language that combines functionality and romanticism. The reference to the American aviator introduces an idea of active and autonomous femininity, capable of inhabiting shapes and materials traditionally associated with technical and masculine clothing.

The construction of the silhouettes alternates between compact, defined volumes—as seen in the short, waist-defined jackets—and wide, soft shapes, visible in the harem trousers and voluminous skirts. Knitwear, made with dense and voluminous yarns, reinforces the impression of wrapped and protected bodies. Leather plays a central role in the collection: used for outerwear and accessories, it evokes aeronautical equipment and introduces a functional dimension in dialogue with a sporty imagery. Velvet, employed to soften proportions, modulates the rigidity of technical materials and supports the development of relaxed and fluid silhouettes. Both materials are used in garments such as bombers, which maintain their utilitarian nature while acquiring a precious connotation.

Prints are pared down to the essentials: regular graphic motifs in black and white. This choice strengthens the collection’s visual clarity, relying on the strength of materials and shapes rather than decoration. Eveningwear brings a tonal shift: hues lighten, moving towards dusty and natural palettes with shades of flesh pink, blush, and ivory. Fabrics become lighter—chiffon, silk, satin—and serve as tools for creating mobile layering, responsive to the body and movement. Alternatively, print motifs transform into optical embroidery on compact, close-fitting surfaces, redefining the figure as an aesthetic map. The effect is that of a dressed surface becoming a support for an almost epidermal elaboration, interpreting the body as a dynamic canvas at the intersection of tailoring and body art.
