The collection, entitled La femme bleue, draws inspiration from the Tuareg world—the nomadic people of the Sahara known for their deep blue garments, a symbol of a strong and captivating cultural identity. This ethnic reference is reinterpreted in a feminine and contemporary key, giving rise to garments that merge tradition with modernity.
The collection features long jackets and slim trousers crafted from soft, flowing fabrics that evoke the movement of desert winds. Historical references to traditional menswear emerge in the shapes of the spencer and the bolero, reimagined with a refined and meticulous sartorial approach.
The dresses stand out for their lightness and the structural use of large bows—elements that are not merely decorative but integral to the garment’s construction. These are often embellished with delicate embroidery in sequins and beads that catch and reflect the light with subtle elegance. The color palette is dominated by shades of blue, ranging from pale to cobalt, creating a sense of depth and visual allure reminiscent of the desert at sunset.
The show unfolds as an immersive experience—an imaginary journey through the dunes—enhanced by dramatic accessories such as oversized turbans in satin and silk chiffon, dangling earrings, and flat shoes. These elements reinforce a vision of sophisticated, exotic femininity deeply rooted in the culture that inspires it.
