The Spring-Summer 2000 menswear collection focuses on lightness, functionality and essentiality of form. The single-breasted jackets, light and unstructured, feature slim shoulders, narrow lapels and split pockets closed by concealed zips. The shirt-jackets, a hybrid between shirt and jacket, are characterised by Velcro fastenings at the collar and short concealed zips at the waist.
A new idea of the suit is expressed through tracksuit-effect suits, consisting of shirts paired with drawstring trousers. The sweaters, made of lightweight yarns, cashmere or hemp, recall the shape of the blouson, while the wide trousers and duster coats are equipped with waterproof pockets or very thin mesh-lined hoods.
The fabrics, designed for sporty daywear, include polyester, cotton and silk, sometimes presented in tie-dye variations. The colour palette emphasises steel grey, with touches of wisteria and pinkish grey.
