The collection synthesizes the hybridization of materials with a technological imprint and shapes inspired by ethnic traditions. This dichotomy unfolds into a visual vocabulary where collarless, buttonless jackets with a vaguely Oriental cut are juxtaposed with ankle-length skirts, sheer tunics, and body-hugging knits crafted from ultra-fine yarns. Together, they evoke a sense of corporeality suspended between protection and vulnerability, essentiality and ornamentation.
The collection explores the tension between geometric precision and deliberate formal disruption: garments introduce elements that challenge symmetry—asymmetrical straps, draped inserts, constructional shifts—articulating a logic of controlled instability. Double-faced fabrics alternate with transparent nets embroidered with small, brightly colored floral motifs, creating a continuous dialogue between density and lightness, opacity and transparency.
In this collection, Armani redefines his aesthetic through a process of cross-cultural contamination that does not renounce formal essentiality but expands it to include exotic references and tactile, structural experimentation—marking a pivotal moment of openness to hybrid and transnational vocabularies.
